Hey,
Is there a way to change the simulation speed? This is exactly the same question someone asked about embergen several years ago here.
Changing step rate inevitably changes the simulation itself and it’s not desirable.
Thanks

Hi the only options at the moment are the Timestep and Step rate settings in the Simulation node. We are working on improving this for future updates!
I work in my 3d software with animation in 24 fps. My liquid simulation is 120 Step rate because i need slowing down. So i have to change my fps in 3d software? When i try simulate in 24 step rate is very fast and looks bed
Hi Raiden, essentially your alembic is being written with frames in relation to its time step. If you export 100 frames in your 120 Hz simulation, then in your Blender project you will need to manually overwrite the Frame parameter by keyframing frame 0 where you want it to begin and then enter 100 in the keyframe where it should end in your project. You may need to scrub through this manually so that the alembic is on the correct frame when it should be (there have been some issues with how blender reads float values as frames).
Let me know if you have any questions about this!
