Import VDB to houdini guide needed

Hello.

I have Octane render for Houdini. How do i import my vdb files from Embergen into Houdini and render it with Octane?

Hey @krabban

If you’re using Octane, you should ask about this over on the otoy forums since we really only know about the processes of our own tool (EmberGen).

Hey Nick. I solved the importing by a simple file node. However, i need to get ahold of more tutorials on how i actually see my fire inside of Houdini. But this is not your matter as you stated above.

Please tell me how you can import VDB into houdini.

i resolve. Need in parameters of export vdb set: temperature, density, fuel and all other. And in houdini node “file” will show VDB.
