Visible Cylinder Mesh Pattern on Liquid Surface When Simulating Fluid in LiquiGen

I’m currently working on a liquid simulation inside a cylindrical container in LiquiGen. The setup involves filling the cylinder completely with liquid and introducing turbulence to create motion in the fluid.

However, I’m encountering a visual issue — the surface of the liquid appears to show a subtle distortion or imprint of the cylinder’s mesh pattern. It’s not visible as wireframe lines, but rather as if the mesh topology of the cylinder is influencing or being reflected on the liquid surface.I’ve verified that the liquid fill and turbulence settings are behaving correctly, but the problem persists visually, almost as though the liquid shader or surface interaction is picking up geometry artifacts from the container mesh.

I’m attaching a screenshot for reference to illustrate how the mesh pattern is visible on the liquid surface.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out about this. This is a current limitation to our voxelized imported meshes. We do have some high quality meshing settings that you can enable but you may need to use some other software to smooth the mesh over in the meantime. This is something we certainly aim to address sooner than later!
