I used noise for a shape blend on each of the individual cushions and parts of the sofa to help vary the source of emission a little, and then played with the temperature of the emitter to have a gradual build up. The sofa still goes fully alight too fast, but looks way better than my previous attempt.
I reckon the next render will be the one!
I will know for sure by Monday when it finishes.
