Hello, I’ve been tinkering with Embergen 1.21 for a while now, but I still struggle to get the outputs needed for our Engine.
I figured only recently that Embergen’s Gradient Based Normal Map are inverted on the Green channel compared with what our Engine is expecting (and that is not something that can be changed on our side as it would affect the whole pipeline for everyone).
However there seems to be no option in Embergen to invert a single channel; this is something we have to do manually in Photoshop, which is slowing the workflow as a whole.
Embergen gives the option to swizzle between channels but not a single channel on itself, like in the example showed here.
Also, I find difficult to enhance the intensity of a normal map. There are Low/Medium/High Frequencies but even putting them at ludicrous high values doesn’t give them the intensity needed (and yes, I also concede our engine is part of the problem here, but that’s another point).
Is it possible to invert normal maps channels individually ? And if not, is it possible to add that feature later?
Can we boost the intensity of a normal mal or is this possible to add this parameter in a future update?
Thank you in advance for your answers !
