PNG Rendering Problem

I’m new to Embergen and have encountered a strange problem.

Every time I attempt to render a PNG sequence the PNGs are all black.

I’ve tried:

  • Using basic presets, not changing anything and just selecting a directory and hitting render, still all black
  • Uninstalling Embergen, restarting PC
  • Rendering viewport or anything else, still all black PNGs

I can’t find any tutorials on this that are of any help…

Hi Josh,

If you’re rendering just fire then you’ll probably need to use the Straight Alpha mode which can be changed in the Render node. I’m guessing that’s the issue. If not can you send a preset that you’re having trouble with?
