Emission attribute noise

Hey guys,

There is one major thing that I have noticed is missing here that is a fairly consistent thing used in good simulation practices. I checked to make sure that wasn’t it anywhere on the roadmap. I would love to be able to apply noise maps or randomization to the emission attributes. It would be great to get a wider range of temperatures and densities in the early stages of the sim. What are the chances of getting something like this?

I’d say the chances are very high, we have a lot of plans to map various 3D noise values, ramps, curves, data types etc to any parameter you want to so that you can really get full control over the sims. I agree with you that it’s needed. :slight_smile:

As for when, probably sometime early next year.
