Near clipping plane problem?

Hello, I have a problem with the near clipping plane and the far clipping plane. These two features don’t work when exporting. I did a simulation with several cameras inside a temple, and the cameras are placed more or less in specific locations. I had already activated the minimum rendering distance, and I set it again in the software, but I get the impression that this feature only works in the viewport with the imported model, but not on the volume or particles, and it doesn’t work at all when rendering. It’s non-existent. I don’t know if it’s a bug or if I’m misunderstanding something.

Hi there, yes the near and far clipping adjustments are meant for the imported meshes and not for the simulation itself. If you want your imported meshes to render in other passes other than the Render Viewport pass you need to make sure its enabled in the Render node

If you let me know what you’re trying to accomplish I’ll be happy to help!

Thank you for your reply, but that’s not what I want. I want to mask the particles that pass in front of the camera. Apart from moving the domain, are there any other methods?

no unfortunately there isn’t any way to do that type of masking in EmberGen
