I’m completely new to embergen. I thought it looked cool, and gave it a try. I went through all the presets to get an idea of what the software was able to do. When I got to the shed preset, I realized that the shed was invisible, except for its shadow. The show collider option was on. Then I tried importing som fbx models of my own, and they didn’t work either. The simulations react perfectly to the meshes, but the meshes are invisible. I am using a Amd Vega 56, which I read should work fine. Does anybody know how to fix this?
Thanks in advance
Hey!
Sorry for the issues here, missing meshes on AMD is a known issue and we’re looking to fix it as soon as we can.
Thanks!
I’m on two Asus Strix 2080RTX cards here, no AMD. Same issue.
Can you confirm that the show collider/show emitter checkboxes are checked?
Yes, both are checked.
EDIT: found out via discord i need to have “render shapes” enabled in the project settings!!
Hey all,
Has this been solved? I am running into the same issue and having trouble finding anything online other than this thread.
My set up is an FBX being imported via the Import node → collider. The collider has Show Collider and Emit Light ticked to true.
The simulation is interacting with the fbx but I can not see it in the preview.
Computer specs:
RTX 3090, Ryzen 3970x, 128gb ram, windows 10.
Hi can you provide your EmberGen file and imported mesh for your project? I can take a look to see if i can find anything
