Hi, I was just trying out the new liquigen 1.0 and I’m attempting to import a camera animation from blender. I’ve tried alembic and fbx and both seem to put the camera in a state of disrepair. adding a camera normally functions fine, but when i put the camera control into the camera node it seems to put the camera far, far away; there’s a line that just goes out into the distance no matter how far i zoom out. I’ve had no problems like this in embergen. if you view through said camera, it is blank.
no amount of scaling or moving changes the camera’s blank view. thanks!
Hey sorry for the delay, this isn’t currently supported in LG. The best way to use the simulation is to export the mesh and/or particles to another DCC program to use as your final render so that you can have accurate reflections for the environment.
Hi Iva, LiquiGen is built on a different engine and we haven’t prioritized camera imports since the ideal workflow with Liquid simulations is to export the mesh and / or particles into your final DCC so that it can produce accurate reflections of the environment
