Imported animated geo rotation, getting embergen emitter to match rotation

Almost ready to give up here. I thought this would be a simple thing to do.

I have a basic animated rotation geo of a cone. its facing a direction that’s not upwards.

How on earth do i get an Embergen emitter to match the direction of the cone, and the rotation anim i imported?

Ive tried bones, forces, import controls, nothing works, it just keeps emitting upwards. no forces, no wind, just always upwards. please help.

Hey so sorry for the delay on this, but you should be able to use the import control from your imported mesh and parent that to a shape primitive. If you send over your project file and imported mesh I can take a look and make some recommendations!
