Let’s say that I have a line force node: while the node is selected and I’m editing the position, orientation, etc parameters, I can follow the changes in the 3D viewport because the gizmo is visible. Now, if I need multiple nodes to use the same values I start using a modulator instead, feeding the other nodes. However in that case when I’m adjusting the values I see no gizmos in the viewport, since no gizmo-bearer node is selected. Is there a way to “pin” a gizmo or some other direct value indicator? (I’m using LiquiGen in this case but this will come up with EmberGen and IlluGen too.)
Hey thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately there isn’t a way to this cleanly at the moment. If you really need it maybe you can connect that output to a shape node as well so that you have some visible reference to how the transform is being applied. We will definitely be addressing node visibility in all of our programs this year so that stuff like this is much easier to manage.
