Confusion over enlarging simuations

Firstly I must say this is a remarkable bit of s/w but what is frustrating me is the seeming inability to enlarge my sim and keep detail. Take the artillery explosion 2 for example…run it for any decent length of time and it hits its boundaries. Try and enlarge the container to accommodate it and the VRAM usage soars, trying to change the voxel size simply makes the container smaller. In TFD you simply made your container to a size that suited and adjust your voxel count to fit in VRAM…how can this be done in Embergen…if possible at all. A sim needs to run for around 10 secs

Hi Paul, thanks for reaching out. EmberGen works on a fixed voxel bounding parameter so it doesn’t have the ability to ‘enhance’ in this way. If you change the voxel size then the bounding box will respond to that and get larger or smaller depending on your changes. I was able to adjust the voxel size, bounding box, and Z wall width to better accommodate the artillery 2 explosion preset. Let me know if this helps!
