Problem on Ubuntu

Hello,
I am trying to install it on my Ubuntu Machine but keep getting this error:

Hey can you try running ./embergen2 --no-splash

This should fix this issue!

Hey,

I also encounter the problem of OP.
I did try the suggestion of notwillclarke (./embergen2 --no-splash), but it keeps giving me the same error as the opening post of this issue.

I’m using Ubuntu 20.04
Hardware is relevant enough to be able to run the software (amd threadripper and rtx3090).
Any other suggestion to try out?

I’m trying to run embergen 1.0.8 on Pop!_OS and “embergen --no-splash” had no effect on the problem. Will this issue please be addressed? How is it with the latest version? Sad I can’t use the software anymore now that i completely switched to linux even though there’s a linux version, it simply doesn’t work

JangaFX btw: I bought this software due to a video from you showing a future version and it seemed even if I bought it early, I’ll get that version, but it took you that long that I never got it. Afterwards I cancelled it. Now I’m stuck with 1.0.8 that will just never ever work for me again. What’s my reason for buying it again now?

It did threw some errors in the terminal bit it did load the software.
